I have a proven track record as a strong voice for my hometown community of Gillingham and Rainham.

Having received a good education from wonderful teachers at Napier Primary, Fort Luton Boys, Rainham Mark, and Chatham Girls (mixed) Sixth Form, I want that same opportunity for all, which is why I will always protect our grammar schools and ensure all can get access to an excellent education with 18 of our schools now rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

My record of delivery includes a £6.5million ambulance hub (opened last year), a new hospital A&E department, and a medical school training more healthcare professionals for Kent and Medway.

£31million has been invested into local healthcare since 2010, this also includes a £1.5million Mother and Baby Unit following my two Parliament Bills on improving mental health.

During the pandemic I secured a mass vaccination centre for Medway, and I am fighting for a new hospital for the area, noting the increased population across Medway and Swale.

Delivering a strong local economy is a top priority for me, including supporting hardworking people with the right skills. Since May 2010, over 9,500 apprenticeships have been delivered in our towns.

have been a champion for protecting our green spaces, including successfully opposing the estuary airport proposal, and the unacceptable Pump Lane orchards housing development.

Alongside our Police & Crime Commissioner, I have secured a record number of police officers for our area, and £111k for community safety in Gillingham High Street.

I will continue to be a strong voice for Gillingham and Rainham with my proven track record of delivery and a commitment to providing opportunity for all.
